Trying to mention someone whose name starts with P doesn't return any searches

Whenever I try to mention someone whos name starts with "p", it says their are no results and I have to search for someone in another way. See screenshots - When I try to look for Pushkar by typing P, it says no results. But when I use his last name, he shows up.

edit This is bad for Pushkar, but worse for our colleague Patrick Peterson, who you can't even go last name. The workaround is to search for anyone else and then research, and it comes back (even when you start with p)
