Gadgets title broken when JIRA is running behind proxy with authentication

      Hi everyone,

      This issue has been reviewed by the Jira Data Center Development team. As a result of our investigation, we have decided to freeze our work on this issue. Broken gadget titles when Jira runs behind a proxy with authentication are not a problem with Jira itself, but rather with its configuration. Jira’s architecture requires it to be able to send requests to itself. A guide has been created explaining the process of Jira accessing gadget translations and providing detailed instructions on how to configure the proxy to whitelist text resources and load them without authentication from a trusted place. Atlassian understands the inconvenience this may cause and is committed to providing the necessary resources to assist customers in resolving this issue.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Install nginx as reverse proxy for JIRA locally.
      2. Turn on basic authorisation on nginx

      Expected Results

      Gadgets should work normally

      Actual Results

      Gadgets title start to show "_MSG_gadget.project.title_".
