Email Filter Subscriptions are still sent after an user is marked as deactivated.
- Create a JIRA user.
- Log in as this user.
- Create a filter.
- Filter used: issuekey in issueHistory() ORDER BY lastViewed DESC
- Ticked the option to still send an email even there's no issue found.
- Subscribe to the filter.
- Deactivate the user.
JIRA sends subscription notifications to active JIRA users.
Deactivated users still receive email from the filter subscription.
The documentation mentioned in
JRA-23462 is not accessible. Will update if there is any updated workaround available.
