my company has been evaluating JIRA for 4-5 weeks now, and generally we are very impressed. one thing that several people have pointed out is the lack of consistancy when 'drilling down' to an issue.

if i start on the jira home page, and click on my project, i see my project with a breadcrumb link at the top, to go back to the main page, something like this:

      Projects : MYPROJECT (Key: MYPROJECT)

if i then click on any of the ways to get to an issue, i loose my home->project path, and am now on the 'find issues' tab.

there is a path back to MYPROJECT, but its not in the same place as the projects breadcrumbs.. so i have to look around to find it.

seems like i should always have a path back up the hiearchy.. something like:

home-> MYPROJECT -> ISSUENAVIGATOR -> MYPROJECT-123, or something like that..

i kinda feel like i'm jumping around without a consistant path to go back to where i was.

      anyway, my $0.02

      thanks

      gareth
