NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding bug report.

      Summary

When we access to JIRA 6.3.15 and later from IE11, a warning dialog appeared. (Please check the attached image.)
When it comes to a function of attaching a screenshot on IE11, JIRA might not use Java Applet and use functions of HTML5 instead.

      https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA063/Attaching+a+Screenshot

Browser compatibility notes: If you are using Internet Explorer versions 8-10, the computer you are using will need to be running Java version 1.7+ platform. If you are using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer 11, the screenshot capability takes advantage of HTML5 compatibility. Safari is not supported.

      https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-43266

In IE 9 and then 10 an applet is necessary to provide the attach screenshot functionality. It is expected that the user is prompted to update java if necessary to support this functionality.

Therefore, the dialog shouldn't appear anymore.
I've already confirmed this dialog is definitely caused by 'Attach Image for JIRA' add-on.
(When I tried to disable the add-on, this problem didn't appear.)

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Prepare JIRA 6.3.15 or later
      2. Install JRE 7 and IE 11 on a client PC (Windows 7)
      3. Access to the JIRA's login page from the client PC

Notes: I've already confirm that the same problem didn't happen on JIRA 6.3.0.

      Expected Results

The warning dialog like following should never appear on IE11.

This webpage wants to run the following add-on: 'Java SE Runtime Environment 7 Update 80' from 'Oracle America, Inc.'.

      Actual Results

      The warning dialog appeared.
