Summary
When an existing JIRA user send an email to create issue, even though the Default Reporter has been set, the issue will not be created.
Environment
JIRA 6.3.15
Gmail email account
Steps to Reproduce
- Create new JIRA Mail Handler to Project A, set Default reporter to admin
- Create new Permission Scheme, and limit Create Issue and Add Comments to jira-administrators group
- Create UserA as a normal user
- Have UserA send an email to create issue in JIRA
Expected Results
Issue will be created and admin will be the reporter
Actual Results
Email will be ignored and issue is not created in JIRA
