Current selected project doesn't change when you go a different issue

I don't know if this is a bug or not (there is no documentation on how this should work).

      1. Pull up an issue (for example PROJ-2) by going directly to it.
      2. Pull up another issue in a different project ( for example OTHER-23 ) by going directly to it.
      3. In the "Projects" tab - note that the Current Selected project is OTHER.
      4. Use the Issues dropdown to change the issue to PROJ-2.

In the "Projects" tab the current selected project is still other.

This manifests as well in the JIRA api where there JiraHelper object returns back the previous project. It seems that the project only changes when you go directly to an issue.

      Is this the intended behavior?
