    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

Confluence has had these for quite some time, as more people are using JIRA for things such as support (i.e. over the internet) it is becoming more pressing to have a supported means of inserting code into the header and body for things including:

      • Analytics
      • Real User Monitoring
      • Heatmap Tracking etc

While there was a request opened for this in 2010 (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-19673) I am hoping that it is time to revisit this, especially with the recent release of JIRA Service Desk.

It would be ideal to bring this into line with the Confluence offering which allows a simple, supported mechanism for injecting code into all the pages.
