Import fails -Data too large exception

      Hi
      We have a export dump taken from HSQL
      We are moving to oracle DB now.
      When we tried to import it is not doing because certail comments/descriptiions have data beyond varchar2's capacity.
      When we wnet through the forum of attalasian we came to know that we can identify those numbers and rectify. But the count is hugh and for certain cases we don't even appear in the list.
      Is there a workaround for this??
