No email received when sharing with yourself

Steps to reproduce:

Share an issue with yourself using your account name.
No email.
Share the same issue with yourself using your email.
Receive notification.
Configure profile to notify yourself on your own changes.
Share an issue with yourself.
Receive notification.

Explicitly sharing an issue with yourself should not be controlled by the notify me on my changes setting.
