Steps to reproduce :
- Create a dashboard
- Share the dashboard with a specific group that you are a member of.
- Login as Administrator, remove the user that shared the dashboard from the group they share it with.
- User will be able to see his dashboard but can't edit it.
Expected :
- User still be able to edit his dashboard since they are the owner of the dashboard.
Workaround :
- Login as the sysadmin user
- Navigate to System> Shared dashboards and search for the dashboard that the user is not able to access
- Now click on the gear icon and then "Change Owner"
- Change the dashboard ownership to another administrator user. You will only be able to pick a user that is member of all the groups that the dashboard is shared with.
- Now check if the new owner is able to edit the dashboard
- After this, login with the new dashboard owner and change the shares of the dashboard to only include the groups/roles that the original user is member of.
- Now change the owner of the dashboard back to the original user. The user should now be able to edit the dashboard.
