It would be useful to be able to specify the Time Tracking options per project.

We have projects with 7.5 hours per day and other projects with 8.0 hours per day depending on the customer.
This also includes the ability to turn on/off Time Tracking per project.

It's pretty clear that Jira and Attlassian don't give a s* about it. They clearly don't want to do it. Don't even want to explain. Because the truth could be painful. Isn't clear?

This has been on the Jira team's radar for 20+ years. Good to know I shouldn't hold my breathe.

Jira Team - this issue has been consistently requested since 2019. It is needed for AGILE projects and your tool is supposed to be supportive of Agile.

How many more years will it take of valuable customer feedback, without any action on this issue by Jira?

Please urgently add it to your backlog and action it as soon as possible to keep Agile customers.

I just got this request from one of our clients and I was very surprised that this is not possible.

mkowalska / dmeyer  Please review this "again".

I'm not sure how Atlassian can expect that multiple Agile projects will handle Time Tracking in a consistent fashion. That is not Agile by definition. A central tool that doesn't support the uniqueness required by individual projects begins to devalue the effectiveness of a central tool. I think Atlassian should strongly consider how best to accommodate this request

With thousands of projects, we have a great need for this feature.  Some teams want to stick with hours and others want "pretty" format with various hours per day configurations.  🙏

Please review this feature once again. My company needs it

We are still waiting for this much needed feature.

I've found that handling it through a separate permissions scheme for the project I don't want users logging time against was a work around for me.

I just came here because I wanted to clean up my project screen as much as possible, in order to not distract users with fields that they are not supposed to interact with in a given project. Cannot get rid of the time tracking stuff.
