    Description

We find it cumbersome that assignees are not listed alphabetically at the various places they are shown in Jira.

On our project dashboard page the assignees are shown in reverse alphabetical order according to their first (i.e. given) name. e.g. with the names changed to protect the innocent

      • George W. Bush
      • Donald Rumsfield
      • Dick Cheney
      • Colin Powell

However, when creating a new issue the assignee appears to be completely random, not alphabetical and not in the order they were created.

      • Dick Cheney
      • George W. Bush
      • Colin Powell
      • Donald Rumsfield

But in the User Browser they appear in forward alphabetical order:

      • Colin Powell
      • Dick Cheney
      • Donald Rumsfield
      • George W. Bush

Please make the asignee order consistent across all pages.
