OAuth dance is happening too frequently between EAC and JAC or JDOG and JAC

I get this when I do the OAuth dance from a gadget displayed in EAC and hosted by JAC.

I am worried that OAuth is busted. It seems that related to this problem is the need to repeat the OAuth dance with JAC every time I visit this EAC page.

There is no OAuth plugin version change between 5.0.1-rc1 (JAC and EACJ) and 5.0.3-SNAPSHOT (JDOG). We are using 1.3.10 across the board.

You have to repeat the oauth dance regularly. Every time I disconnect and then reconnect to the VPN I gave to clear all cookies AND close the browser otherwise I get 401s
