The dashboard stops working over a VPN if the VPN is closed and re-opened.

    Description

      This is what happens to James:

      1. Connects to JIRA (jdog) over VPN.
      2. The dashboard is displayed.
      3. Disconnects the VPN.
      4. Connects the VPN.
      5. (BUG) Reload the dashboard. You have a whole bunch of 401 in each gadget. The VPN is up by this stage.
      6. Restart the browser. The dashboard displays correctly.
