Previously (JIRA 4.4.1) when the 'External user management' option was enabled, users were not able to change their passwords via instance/secure/ChangePassword!default.jspa. In 5.0, even with the option enabled, users are able to go to their profile and change their password.
This negatively affects admins who have enabled the option to prevent users from changing their passwords to something common/weak.
