At the moment, to search for UNRESOLVED issues' resolution need to be defined explicitly e.g. Project = "ABC" AND resolution != Fixed or resolution = UNRESOLVED

If the UNRESOLVED is not defined in the JQL, JIRA won't searched for issues with that resolution. This could be a critical issue for users who didn't realize about this.
