Upgrade from a JIRA 4.2.x using LDAP with lowecase/uppercase usernames and migrating to JIRA 4.3.x with a Connector directory
-
4.03

- JIRA 4.2.x and LDAP - The username in LDAP is Jirauser and in JIRA is jirauser. The assignee field of the issues are set to jirauser. JIRA only authenticates the password, and it works.
- Upgrade to JIRA 4.3.x and create a Connector directory for user management. The Jirauser in LDAP is now the Jirauser in JIRA as well.
- If you click on an issue where the assignee was user jirauser, the assignee is now the Jirauser, and the user can perform the assignee actions, however, this issue does not show up under the Assign to Me gadget or the Issue navigator when you perform a seach for Assignee = Jirauser. The field lower_user_name of table cwd_user is not being used for all the necessary fields in JIRA.
