    Description

      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      At the moment you can change log level for a given logger, but if you want to add a new logger you need to edit the log4j.properties file and restart.

      Users should be able to do this without a restart.
