We use project-specific "Custom Field Configuration schemes" a great deal. It is very inconvenient that creating or modifying them requires jira admin rights.

It would be a really good improvement if, directly in the project admin page, the project administrator could see the custom fields that have a Custom Field Configuration scheme for the project, and could modify them or create new ones - of course, only for this project.

As it stands, we have to have a service requests that project admins can use to request new or modified schemes. This creates a lot of unnecessary overhead.
