    Description

      It would be nice to be able to use the new notification system (which is very nice, BTW) to send mail to arbitrary addresses. These addresses might not be associated with JIRA users.

      A simple way of doing this would be to add another choice to the list displayed for the AddNotification action. It could be called "Value of Custom Field", and would take a single parameter. This would be the name of a custom field defined on the issue. JIRA would lookup the value of this field and use the value as a (comma delimited list of?) email address.
