It would be very useful for a user to set his e-mail notification preferences according to an issue priority, issue component, etc. For example, we have coded that assignee's get e-mail notifications throughout our customized workflow, but it would be handy for the user preferences to offer up more options than are currently set. Ideally, we would like individual users to be able to turn e-mail off entirely, or to be selectively notified for certain types of issues with a high priority or for a particular component.
