Assigning someone to Administrator role on a specific project only does not enable him to edit roles to add developers and users to his project.

In order to allow respective managers to manage their own projects, without having full administrator rights, one can set the Permission Scheme of projects to give rights to Administer Project to the Project Role (Administrators).

While this enables them to press the 'Administration' button, they are still unable to View and Edit the project roles themselves. I.e. they are unable to add people to work on their project.

            Hi Josef,

We actually have a large improvement request asking for this functionality as well as a lot of other related tasks for a "project admin".

I have linked this issue to JRA-3156 and will resolve this issue as duplicate.

            Regards,
