Ability to administer dashboards for non-current users

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

For the currently logged in user, it is possible on the user's profile page to manage their dashboards.

Admin should be able to do this for non-current users,

If we want a customer to see a dashboard, it would be silly to give them long steps on how to find, subscribe, and customize my dashboard. As it stands I can't even be sure if internally everyone is seeing the improvements I make to the default dashboard and I hope they haven't started customizing theirs yet or they won't get the improvements we have setup.

            Hi,

I believe this is actually a duplicate of JRA-7615 and therefore I will resolve this issue.

Please vote for JRA-7615 and add yourself as a watcher to it.

Also, now that it is possible for one to share the dashboard, while still maintaining control over its contents, are you after the ability to "force" the dashboard to be a favourite on other users?

            Cheers,
            Anton

i agree. This would be helpful. Instead I log in as that user and control passwords so they cannot change it from what I provided to them. See linked issue.
