As I mentioned in JRA-1424, I'd had a mail from a user who was having trouble creating an account in the XDoclet JIRA. Somehow he ended up with an account in the opensymphony JIRA instead of ours. Now I had thought he'd just ended up on the wrong site and set up the account in theirs by mistake. However, I've had another mail from him which suggests otherwise:
"That is the strange part: I am sure I started out from the XDoclet part of the site, but remember ending up on the OpenSymphony part. At that time I thought it was maybe a little bit understandeable since Atlassian hosts both sites. However, when I noticed that it didn't work, I followed the 'forgot password' procedure on the XDoclet site and got an e-mail from OpenSymphony with a reset password for... the OpenSymphony site."
Hopefully I've managed to get him set up with an account now, via the user admin pages. I figured I'd better raise an issue for it, though, in case there's a chance something screwy is going on that you need to investigate.
