The gzip work that went into 3.11 seems to be causing some problems.
Our config at the moment is:

Firefox -> ssl -> apache (keepalives enabled)-> mod-jk -> tomcat -> jira - gzip enabled -> crowd

Quite a complex setup, but one that should be fully supported.

When a file is first downloaded, it works fine. If you try download same file again it can hang. Clicking on thumbnails also causes some problems when displaying the large image.

Opera seems to work ok.

This may be related to the problems we were seeing on the similar setup with resin. (css not down loading).
