Summary
When the AI Suggestions panel is active in the Jira Service Management issue view, its “View all” button and content area overlap the “More options” (⋯) dropdown menu. This prevents users from selecting certain actions, such as Delete or Export Word, which are obscured by the panel.
Problem
The AI Suggestions panel currently appears to have a higher z-index or a fixed position that causes it to render on top of the overflow menu. This creates a usability blocker where critical issue actions are inaccessible unless the user manually scrolls or closes the suggestions.
Proposed Solution
- Collapse Toggle: Add a native "collapse" or "minimize" button to the AI Suggestions panel so users can hide it when not in use.
- Z-Index Adjustment: Ensure that the global navigation and overflow menus (⋯) always have a higher z-index than the AI Suggestions panel.
- Repositioning: Allow the panel to be moved or ensure it dynamically shifts when a menu is opened in its vicinity.
Impact
This would significantly improve the experience for agents using Atlassian Intelligence features by ensuring that AI assistance does not interfere with core ticket management actions.
