Current behaviour:

When a user is @mentioned individually in a Jira issue or comment, a notification is sent via the Jira Cloud for Microsoft Teams app (if the user has installed the app and enabled personal notifications). However, when an Atlassian Team is @mentioned, members of that team do not receive a notification in Microsoft Teams.

Expected behaviour:

When an Atlassian Team is @mentioned in a Jira issue or comment, all members of that team who have the Jira Cloud app configured in Microsoft Teams should receive a personal notification — the same way individual @mentions work today.

Use case:

Customers rely on Atlassian Teams to group users across projects. When tagging a team in a comment, they expect all members to be notified in their preferred channel, including Microsoft Teams. The current gap causes missed notifications and delays in ticket follow-up.
