      Issue Summary

Jira issue view date picker ignores “Use ISO8601 standard in Date Picker” and still shows Sunday as first day of week

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. As a Jira admin, go to System → Look and feel.
      2. Locate the setting, Use ISO8601 standard in Date Picker.
      3. Set this to Yes and save/apply the change.
      4. Open a Jira Service Management project.
      5. From the customer portal, open a request form that contains a date field and open the date picker.
        • Observe that Monday is displayed as the first day of the week (ISO8601 behavior).
      6. From the agent view for the same JSM work item or a different Jira work item, open an issue and click on a date picker (e.g. Due date or a custom date field).

      Expected Results

      • When Use ISO8601 standard in Date Picker = Yes, all Jira date pickers in the site, including:
        • Customer portal date pickers, and
        • JSM or Jira agent view date pickers
should respect ISO8601 and show Monday as the first day of the week.

      Actual Results

      • Customer portal date pickers do respect the setting and show Monday as the first day of the week.
      • JSM or Jira agent/user view date pickers don't respect the setting and continue to show Sunday as the first day of the week.
