Issue Summary
Currently labels are available immediately only to the user who created the label. Other users experience a delay of 10 minutes at the minimum (and upto 15-20 minutes) in some cases before the labels are available to be used.
This also requires a browser refresh for the labels to be shown.
This causes confusion because when users try to search for the newly created label, they are provided with the option to create the label even though another user just created them and so it appears as though they do not have access to those labels and then suddenly in a few minutes the label is seen in the drop down.
This is a request to improve this behavior and make labels available to other users more quickly.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a label on a work item.
- Confirm that the label is available to be used by the same user on another work item/ticket.
- Ask another user to check if the newly created label is available for them to use. The newly created label is not available to be used.
- Wait 10 to 15 minutes. Ask the other
Expected Results
The newly created label should be available to other users without delay.
Actual Results
It takes 10 minutes and more for the newly created label to be available. Users also have to perform a browser refresh for the label to be seen. The recently created label is not shown in the drop-down and the system forces you to create a new Label.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. Users have to wait and perform a browser refresh to see the labels after a delay.
