Problem Statement:

As a developer, tracking work is required and it's very frustrating that I have to expand the field on each screen

Summary:

The "log work" field is always collapsed when I navigate a work item or transition an issue. As a result,  it's frequently forgotten which prevents the issue from progressing. 

Suggestion:

Please allow this field to be expanded by default, in all locations, to help simplify the use workflow
