Currently, planned sprints in the backlog view are sorted by their creation date (likely based on ID/sequence number). For teams that work with many sprints and use start/end dates, this makes it difficult to maintain a logical chronological order without manually reordering.

Providing an option to sort planned sprints automatically by start date in the backlog view would save time and reduce manual effort, especially for teams managing large numbers of future sprints.

This request is related to JRACLOUD-90431, but applies specifically to sorting in the backlog view itself, not just in the agile reports dropdown.
