As of today, the order in which sprints are presented on the sprint selection dropdown follows a pre-determined rule that considers the sprint's ID and SEQUENCE numbers, as described here.

We would like to propose the implementation of alternative options to this fixed ordering, including:

• Alphabetical ordering by sprint name
• Order by sprint creation date
• Order by sprint start date
• Order by sprint close date (Ordering by the most recently closed sprint would be especially useful for finding reports)

This would be useful for customers that have lots of sprints because sometimes the fixed algorithm can create ordering that doesn't seem to follow any reasonable pattern and make it difficult for users to find the correct one.
