      Issue Summary

The "Jira Cloud" app for Slack is sending personal notifications to the ticket reporter. However, when the account is shared by more than one user, the notifications display the wrong user as the actor. The issue stems from the system attempting to map the Atlassian Account ID (AAID) to a Slack user ID by checking which user has logged in to the Jira Slack app using the shared email. This results in the display of the incorrect user in Slack notifications.

      Example Scenario:

      • A comment event on an issue is performed by user alice@example.com.
      • An issue transition event is performed by user bob@example.com.
      • In Slack, both events incorrectly appear as if they were performed by charlie@example.com.

(Note: These are example user names for illustration purposes.)

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Use a shared account to perform actions (such as comments or transitions) in Jira.
      2. Ensure that the shared account is linked to a user who has logged into the Jira Slack app.
      3. Observe the Slack notifications for these actions.

      Expected Results

Slack notifications should show the correct user who performed each action (comment or transition).

      Actual Results

Slack notifications incorrectly show a different user as the actor for both events due to the mapping of the shared Atlassian account to the Slack account of the logged-in user.

      Workaround

Disconnect the shared account from Slack.
