When performing a Bulk Operation to edit issues, whenever the changes include the Parent field, email notifications are sent regardless of the user's choice on the third step (Operation Details), and confirmation on the fourth step (Confirmation).
Steps to Reproduce
Before starting, make sure to review your Personal Settings for notifications on the site, and make sure that your have selected the You make changes to the issue option.
- Search for any given issue and initiate a Bulk Update.
- On the Operation Details:
- Select Change Parent and choose an issue on the dropdown.
- Make sure you do not select the checkbox Send mail for this update at the end of the page.
- Verify on the Confirmation step that the message indicating no notifications will be sent as part of the update is displayed.
- Complete the steps successfully and observe that notifications are sent regardless.
