Please resolve!

We currently have two done/green category statuses for Epics, "Done" and "Closed". Currently in the roadmap view, when "show completed epics" is enabled and set to look back for some months (1 month, 2 months, 5 months, etc) it will include all of the "Closed" epics regardless of when they were marked resolved. I don't know if there's a separate ticket to track/address this particular issue, but if this ticket is picked up by Atlassian at least we'd be able to filter out non-default statuses as a workaround.

Anusha, Yes we would like a drop down to filter based on status rather than status category. In our case we'd like just the statuses used for Epics but a list of all statuses would be better than the Status Category list. Thank you.

I have added a workaround to the original post describing how Roadmap filters can be used to filter by Status (not Status category).

Can I confirm with the watchers of this issue, would you ideally like to see a Roadmap Status (not Status category) filter dropdown that is dynamically populated with all statuses included in the workflows associated with the project? Thanks!

There seems to be a growing interest in this feature.  Is there any news on when this might be scheduled?

This feature would be incredibly helpful. We don't want to report every epic in our backlog to stakeholders; leveraging "Labels" is a tedious workaround given that we already have epic statuses that we could leverage (i.e. Backlog vs. To Do).

This would be useful for to reflect the different phases of an epic beyond just in progress = in dev

Would be very usefull and seems like a logical option. You can filter issues, on status in a Kanban board. Why not Epics in the roadmap

This would be useful for my teams. 

Is this feature scheduled on the roadmap?  It will add a lot of value to be bale to track where Epics are up to.  The default ststus categories are not granular enough to be very helpful.

We would like to have this feature implemented at the earliest to track only the scoped project status.

Glad I came across this as I was thinking the same. Filtering epics by the project/board's statuses instead of default status category makes much more sense from a project management standpoint.

Here the same. I need to filter by "workflow" statuses: Requested / Rejected / On Hold / In progress / Done.. 

We also have the same problem. Hope, it will be fixed soon.

+1 for this feature. By now we're helping us out with a specific color scheme for a certain status. But of course you can't filter. push

+1 for this feature.  It makes the roadmap a little difficult to map out planned work without being able to apply more filtering.

We have the same problem and really would like to filter Epic in the Roadmap by status.

I would like to filter roadmap by components as well.

My project would like to have it, based on the workflow statuses as well. That would change a lot, so those Roadmap would give us better understanding on what statuses our Epics(features) are

We definitely need this... Being able to filter tasks by TO DO, IN PROGRESS or DONE isn't good enough for the roadmap. We need more flexibility and to actually work with the column headers/status we've setup on our next-gen boards.

I would like this feature added as I'm changing status to delayed as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic and there is no practical way to filter by 'delayed'. 

So disappointed to see this is low priority. Next gen projects are almost useful for me since I don't want complex workflow. All I need is ability to filter dashboard by status/column values (label would be nice, too) and to hide "Done" issues by default. This seems like such low hanging fruit!
