Resolution: Duplicate
Jira notifications are very helpful although they can get really spammy when we work on several different issues, with many people, plus automation, the same issue has sometimes 5 or more notifications. That gets worse when there are multiple issues in this scenario and the notifications are sorted by date so everything is mixed.
It turns very time-consuming to check all notifications, many useless since they are from the same issue... you get the idea.
So my suggestion, when there is more than one notification on the same issue they could be:
- collapsed together
- only show the last one of that issue
- show the number of new notifications on an issue
- or at least sorted by issue instead of date, so the related ones can be easily marked as read
- duplicates
