"Mark all as read" option in icon bell not clearing in app notifications after closing and opening drop down menu

      Issue Summary

      Jira's in app Notifications "Mark all as read" button is not marking the notifications as read (blue dot  disappears) after closing and opening the In-app notifications dropdown menu

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Open Jira Cloud.
      2. Click on the In-app notifications Bell icon to display the dropdown menu.
      3. Click on the three dots.
      4. Click "Mark all as read"
      5. Notice that all notifications are marked as read (blue dot disappear)
      6. Close the In-app notifications drop down menu.
      7. Open it again.
      8. Notice that the notifications are not cleared (blue dot does not disappear).

      Expected Results

      All notifications stay cleared after closing and opening the in app notifications drop down menu

      Actual Results

      In app notifications are not cleared when closing and opening the in app notifications drop down menu.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
