    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

       Problem Definition:

Currently, the Labs features are enabled for all users and can be disabled in the User Profile page.

In particular, functions such as "Store data on your own device" that pose a security risk when turned on should be controlled on an organizational basis, not on an individual basis.

Store data on your own device

Improve the performance of your board and backlog by storing frequently accessed data on your own device. When toggled off, any data stored via this feature will be deleted. This is not recommended on public computers.

      Suggested Solution:

Add possibility to disable the JIRA Labs features for all users on the instance.

      side note:

A similar ticket( JRACLOUD-67328 ) was created in the past but was closed without being fundamentally addressed, so it is being re-created.

            Hey Atlassian

You are a bit late with the "Overdue warning" Jira Labs feature. A lot of clients have already implemented a solution which is more functional than the one you introduced through Jira Labs. Not enabling the functionality to be turned off globally really does not make any sense at all.

TIP: Atlassian support can deactivate the feature.

This would also address https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-83607 and should be related.
