      Issue Summary

Currently, when talking about exporting data, users are able to:

      • Export issues data through a search > export data (which can be done in multiple formats but limited to 1k issues)
      • Use Google Sheets to export > 1k issues
      • Export a complete site backup (which can only be imported into another Jira site)

However, it's not possible, for example, to export all options of a specific field in csv format or to have a complete list of all fields of a specific type. Currently, this information is only available through UI.

It would be great to count on more data visualization flexibility, what would be possible if Jira admins could execute read-only queries in database, for example.

      Expected Results

Customer should have the possibility to do a deeper data consulting as also have more powerful features when exporting data.

      Actual Results

Currently, users can (mainly) count on the following 3 exporting features:

      • Export issues data through a search > export data (which can be done in multiple formats but limited to 1k issues)
      • Use Google Sheets to export > 1k issues
      • Export a complete site backup (which can only be imported into another Jira site)

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.

Enterprise customers may use Atlassian Analytics.
