Issue Summary
External System Import service overcalculates the value of the Time Tracking field. For example, if the total amount of time spent is 3H by summing the Worklog entries available in the CSV, after the importing of the issues, the value of the Time Tracking field (Time Spent), will be higher.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a CSV file with the issues fields.
- import the file into Jira using the External System Import tool in:
Global Settings > System > Import and Export section > click External System Import and then click CSV. - Map the desired fields, including "Log Work" and "Time Spent"
- Complete the import operation.
Expected Results
The value of the Time Tracking (Time Spent) field should be the same as in the CSV file.
Actual Results
The value of the Time Tracking (Time Spent) field is higher, sometimes could be double.
Workaround
When importing the CSV, exclude the "Time Spent" field from the mapping and keep the "Log Work" mapped. This will make the system calculate the Time Tracking (Time Spent) using only the worklog values.
