      Atlassian Update - August 2024

      Hi everyone and 71d2afdab58b ,

Hope you're all well. I'm April and I'm product manager in Atlassian Teams 👋

We've rolled out the ability to reactivate your Atlassian Teams via email notifications. When a Team is deleted, team members and org admins will receive an email notification where you can restore the team. You can read more about it here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/Atlassian-Team-reactivation-made-easy/ba-p/2741696.

For this reason, I'm marking this ticket as resolved. Please let me know if you have any further feedback by responding here!

In regards to the audit log part of this suggestion, this is a separate feature that we're gathering interest on. I've made a separate ticket here if you'd like to vote on it or elaborate on the problem: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-27095.

      Regards,

      April

      Hi.

Sometimes, users might accidentally delete teams, and the steps to restore those teams usually involve restoring backups, which would take quite a lot of time and effort.

As such, it would be great if JIRA had some sort of Trash or Recycle Bin so that users would be able to restore any accidental teams easily with some sort of Audit Logs.

      Notes

Support is unable to recover accidentally deleted issues as per our data storage policy.

We encourage customers to regularly back up their products so they can always recover their data. See the following articles for more information:

You may also be able to recover data from your Sandbox instance if you have one.
