Issue Summary
Select Custom Field list not populating any data
Steps to Reproduce
- Open an issue in the issue view
- Try editing a Select Custom Field
Expected Results
Users should see the select options
Actual Results
The options are not populated
Workaround
- Go to an affected issue and click Configure to go to its Issue layout
- Move a field around (for example swap the order of two fields), click Save changes and then move the field back to the original position and click Save again.
This should force a cache refresh and should resolve the issue.
Workaround Notes
- You must do this for one affected issue per project. If there are a lot of projects with the problem the workaround will take some time to apply.
- The workaround fix may work initially and then be overwritten (reverting the fix) as the issue is related to problems in cache regeneration
