Issue Summary
When the assignee is changed manually or via Automation, the previous assignee gets Jira issue updated notification when the ticket is unassigned.
Steps to Reproduce
- Assign a ticket to User A and make sure user is not a watcher
- Now assign the ticket to user B via automation or manually
- User B received the issue-assigned notification
- User A received the issue updated notification
Expected Results
User A should not be notified that the issue has been unassigned.
Actual Results
User A received the issue updated notification when the ticket was unassigned.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
