Issue Summary
Currently, as per https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-1369 Jira Email Notifications batching is now enabled for all the instances, where we have custom domain email address as well as where we have the default Jira email address for sending the Jira Email Notifications.
A lot of customers need faster, close to real-time email notifications for issue creation and issue updates as it's critical for their business to respond to the issues as soon as the issue is created or updated.
Currently, due to Batching of Jira Email notifications, the email arrives with a standard delay of 3 mins even if there is only a single update for that issue. This is due to Jira Notification platform waiting for 3 mins to scan the same issue for any other updates within the 3 minute window.
Need the option to disable Jira Email Notifications Batching for default Jira email id as well as custom domain email id
Workaround
Use the In-App Notifications for real time notifications for Jira Issues in JSW cloud. Monitor the bell icon at the top beside the global search field in Jira.
