    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

Please provide an option for the admin to enable/disable the rendering of issue keys in the description section. When a user types the key of an issue existing on the instance, Jira detects that and renders it as a hyperlink. Coming from Jira Server, this is rendered as [ISSUEKEY-123]. Moving to Jira Cloud it is rendered like

      “issuetype_icon ISSUE-123 [summary] _status “
When issues have long summaries or multiple issues are referenced, the description loses its readability.

Please add the option to change how the issue reference is rendered in the description. It should allow for default behaviour globally.

Options that should be available for global rendering:

      “ISSUE-123” (hyperlink)
      “issuetype ISSUE-123 status “
      “issuetype ISSUE-123 [summary] status “

I believe this feature already exists to some degree as each user can set their own Link Preferences: https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/link-preferences

Could the watchers of this issue let us know if this feature does not meet their requirements? Thanks!
