Issue Summary
Time since chart gadget shifts months one to the left when you rest the mouse over the bars in the Dashboard shen using a custom field. Tested and verified on internal instance.Repeat of JRACLOUD-68303
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a custom field and add it to the screens (or just use the Due date field)
- Fill the date field on some issues using different months.
- Create a new Dashboard by clicking on Dashboard > Manage Dashboard > Create Dashboard
- Configure the Time since chart gadget as follows:
- date field: custom date field
- period: monthly
- days previous: 365
- cumulative totals: No
- refresh: every 2 hours
- Save
Expected Results
The count of issues that fall in a month should match the count of issues when clicking on the bar and viewing the JQL search
Actual Results
Chart will display with bars shifted 1 month to the left, but clicking on the bar will take you to the search with the correct count of records for that month. This means that if in March you had 29 issues that should count, in your search for that month you'll have 29 issues, but the count and the bar heigh will reflect 29 issues for February, not March. And if in February you had 12 issues, then the search for that month it'll show 12 issues, but in the chart January will show 12 issues and February will, as mentioned, show 29 issues where February should be showing 12 issues and March should be showing 29 issues.
Workaround
No known workaround. Isn't entirely unusable in this state so long as keeping in mind that issue count is reflective of the month prior to the one represented in the chart.
