Issue Summary:
Users are unable to filter issues using Basic search when filtering is done via any custom field that has predefined value types ( Checkboxes, Select list-multiple choices, etc ) for a specific Team Managed project.
Error: "Value is not valid for your current project and/or Issue Type selection"
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a custom field of any predefined value type ( Example: Created "Account Name' of type Select list ( multiple choices ) ) and added this custom field to all issue types in a Project.
- Created issues and filtered using the Account name and it works fine. We are getting the result.
- But while filtering with respect to a single project (instead of having project:all), it errors out "Value is not valid in current project or issue selection"
- Tested by first selecting the project and then adding the custom field but the values don't show up
- A simple JQL query works fine if we filter using project name and custom field value. But not in Basic search.
Expected Result:
Basic Search should show results.
Workaround:
To filter issues using JQL editor.
