Issue Summary

Basic search does not work when a custom filed (multi select field) has a special character in the name field

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a custom field Text with Multiple Lines that has special character (Say field name as: Multi choice
   \test or Multichoice 'test) and add values to the fields.
2. Add data to field
3. Go to the search of issue, in your JIRA instance
4. Click on more and search for the custom field
5. Application does not allow to select the values of the custom fields

Expected Results

Jira should allow to select the desired values of the custom fields as part of basic search

Actual Results

Does not allow us to select the custom field values

Workaround

Switch to the advanced search to get the desired results.
