User want to preserve the strike-through formatting of resolved Linked Issue when exporting from Jira to Excel (csv)

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

      Issue Summary

In Filters under Advanced Issue Search, when user search list of issues within a project and add a "Linked Issues" column, the resolved linked issues are shown with strike-through.

When user export the result to Excel (CSV), this column "Links" doesn't get exported. this is a bug which was reported and was informed to the customer:

      • JRACLOUD-63388: Export Excel CSV does not export the Inward issue link

But now, user wants to know if it is possible to export this column and also maintain the strike-through formatting in Excel (csv)?

      Steps to Reproduce

User links an issue with an new issue and if the linked issue is resolved there is a  strike-through on it in the web browser (attached)

Now as the links column is not shown in our jira due to the bug, the workaround is provided which requests the customer to use google sheets, but again in google sheets as well the formatting is not preserved (attached)

      Expected Results

Now, google sheet is a third party tool so we cannot change that but in jira export when the link issue will be shown in jira during import, customer suggested that the resolved issues should have the strike-through formatting
